Ex – Manchester United Winger Is Still Going For Goals

He may have hung up his football boots, but ex-Manchester United winger Garry Worrall, still has goals in mind.

Worrall's Manchester based company, Sports Equipment, is launching a brand new website this week – www.sports-e-quipment.co.uk The launch takes place as Garry's old team prepare to take on Millwall at Millenium Stadium, Cardiff on 22nd May.

Sports Equipment is responsible for supplying schools, universities and local authorities across the country and is also the main supplier to premiership teams including Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool F.C, Leeds United, Everton F.C and Newcastle United.

The website which was designed by Walkden based A.I.S, boasts 752 products ranging from ground anchors to full sized professional goal posts.

Garry, who has been running the business since he retired from the game, 11 years ago, felt that it was the right time to go online. "Sports Equipment has been growing at a rate that I could never have imagined. We are due to break the £1,000,000 sales mark this year and we feel this is the perfect time to go online. We stock such a wide range of products; everything from volleyball nets and hurdles to the goal posts that Manchester United use that the best way for people to actually to see the complete range was to set up a website."

Garry is keen to dismiss the notion that the site is only for people who wish to buy large quantities of sports equipment. "Often it is quite difficult for the average consumer to find specialised sports equipment or even replacement parts. We are hoping that our website will offer the consumer a one-stop shop which has everything you could ever need, ranging from the top end equipment that premiership teams use, to goal posts that you can put in your back garden."

The site allows all customers to order online and guarantees delivery within 7-10 days.
